Contractors working in Sangre’s service territory

In our efforts to provide safe and reliable electric service to our consumers, Sangre de Cristo Electric Association Inc. has contracted with Power Pole Inspectors (PPI) to test and inspect power poles in Fremont and Chaffee counties. The work will begin in August and will be completed by end of September.

PPI will have access to all of Sangre de Cristo Electric’s power poles and will be driving pickup trucks and ATVs that are clearly marked with Sangre de Cristo Electric’s logo.

PPI crews will be working in southwestern Fremont and southeastern Chaffee counties. Areas include Swissvale and Wellsville west of Howard; north of Salida in the Tenderfoot Mountain area; Sand Park; Adobe Park and Missouri Park.

UPDATE 8/13/18: Sangre de Cristo Electric Association has expanded the scope of its pole inspection program further north than originally reported. Our subcontractor, Power Pole Inspectors, will also be in the Centerville area and finish at the Ray Lewis Substation in the vicinity of Elk Crossing Subdivision.
