Customer Service Representative Jayme Greenfield Retires

Jayme GreenfieldA familiar face to most people who have walked through Sangre de Cristo Electric Association’s doors in the last decade, Jayme Greenfield retired from the cooperative in May.

Jayme worked at SDCEA for more than 11 years. For nine of those years, she worked the front desk as a customer service representative.

“I loved the people,” Jayme said. “I loved getting to know everyone.”

Jayme was promoted to a CSR II two years ago where she became more involved in billing and other consumer services at SDCEA.

Jayme retired to move on to managing her family’s business: The Barn at Sunset Ranch, an event venue outside of Buena Vista. “I was able to fulfill my dream of having a wedding venue,” Jayme said.

“It was hard to leave because the employees at Sangre de Cristo are like family to me. I enjoyed it. It was the best job in the world. I learned so much and made so many friends.”

Jayme and her husband, Jim, plan to run their business, travel and enjoy their kids and grandkids.
