Purpose
Incentive program is to assist members in lowering their demand charge and better utilize solar generation.
Parameters
Must be a member AND live in SDCEA’s territory full time*
First 20 members
Available to both solar and non-solar consumers
Perks
Enrolled members who participate can receive $3,000 one-time toward purchase of system install
*SDCEA Staff and Board Members are not eligible for the Pilot Program.
Agreement Basics
Must be a member of SDCEA and live in SDCEA’s territory full time*
Storage must have the capacity of 1/3 of solar nameplate rating minimum
WIFI for programing of equipment is required
Monthly screen shot of correct programing is required
Installation of system must meet SDCEA Policy requirements
Must allow SDCEA to utilize RECS (renewable energy credits) by production meter
Application to be reviewed and approved by SDCEA
*SDCEA Staff and Board Members are not eligible for the Pilot Program.
