Board Positions Uncontested

Sangre de Cristo Electric Association (SDCEA) has announced that there will be no election for its board of directors this June. The three board positions up for election remained uncontested as of the March 13 filing deadline.

In accordance with SDCEA’s bylaws, uncontested elections do not require a public vote. As a result, the incumbent board members will automatically retain their seats.

The following board members will remain in their roles:

  • Blake Bennetts – Representing the town of Buena Vista
  • Michael Robinson – At-large representative
  • Mark Boyle – Representing rural Chaffee/ Lake counties

The reappointment of these board members will be formally recognized at SDCEA’s 86th Annual Meeting on June 24 in Westcliffe.
