Groundbreaking for the Trout Creek Solar, LLC, project took place last fall. Representatives from project developer juwi, Inc., SDCEA, the Colorado Department of Corrections and other community representatives attended the event.

Five local students represented SDCEA on the annual Youth Tour to Washington, D.C. The all- expense-paid trip is sponsored by SDCEA and the Colorado Rural Electric Association. SDCEA also awarded scholarships for post-secondary education in 2018.
