CONTRACTOR AUTHORIZATION
LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION
I, the undersigned, give authorization for the following individual to act on my behalf for any contact with Sangre de Cristo Electric Association, Inc. during the process of installing my new electric service or upgrading my electric service.
I give permission to Sangre de Cristo Electric Association, Inc. to release service information and related documents concerning my new electric service or upgrade of my service to my representative. I accept full responsibility for the decisions made by my representative and agree to hold Sangre de Cristo Electric Association harmless in regard to said decisions.
Any necessary documents will be executed by me and not by my representative.
Engineering Fee Acknowledgement
Once this information is reviewed, an SDCEA representative will contact you, confirm details and provide initial information about your project.
If you elect to begin your project, you will receive instructions about how to pay an engineering fee.
SDCEA requires a $750 non-refundable Engineering Fee be paid before a site visit can be scheduled with our Staking Technician.
Applicant or applicant's representative must be present for the site visit. Once a site visit has been scheduled, the applicant must provide notice of cancellation at least one (1) full business day in advance of the scheduled site visit. If the applicant or applicant’s representative is not present for the site visit, an additional rescheduling fee will be assessed and will not be credited toward the cost of the project and is not refundable.
Work Order Acknowledgement
Should there be no activity on your work order for six months, then the engineering fee will be forfeited, the work order will be cancelled and any desire to continue at a later date will then need to be started entirely from the beginning. This will require another $750 to restart the application.
If the applicant requests changes or if additional engineering hours are required by SDCEA to complete the design, additional engineering fees will be collected before the work order will be finalized.
